Summer School 2020

District 73.5 will offer Summer School for:

  • Students entering grades 1-8 who are in need of academic support
  • Students who are not making adequate progress towards meeting most standards
  • Students who are absent 20 or more days

Summer School will be in session from Wednesday, June 10th through Thursday, July 2nd remotely as school buildings remain closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The program is from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday (no classes on Fridays).

The cost for the ELA/Reading class and the Math classes is $125 per class. Summer school qualification decisions were shared by teachers during parent teacher conferences in February and lists were finalized by the end of March. During this year's closure, parents used an online form to both register and pay for classes.
