Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parents/guardians are invited to participate in Parent-Teacher Conferences in October and February. Conferences are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be scheduled in person or by video.

- Opens: Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 7:00 a.m.
- Closes: Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
FEBRUARY CONFERENCES

- Friday, February 12, 2027 | 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

- Opens: Thursday, January 28, 2027 at 7:00 a.m.

Conference registration is completed through PowerPTC, which parents/guardians access through their PowerSchool Parent Portal account.

Language interpreters are available for conferences. Select the appropriate language in the Special Requests section when registering for a conference. For additional assistance, contact District ML Coordinator, Lyla Nissan, at [email protected] or 847-676-8210.
► McCracken Registration Process. Due to the number of students served by McCracken teachers and the number of available conference appointments, McCracken uses a staggered registration process to provide families with more equitable access to teachers.
- Families may schedule up to three appointments with McCracken teachers during the first three days of registration.
- Beginning on the fourth day of registration, the appointment limit is removed and families may schedule additional available conferences until registration closes.
► When a Teacher's Schedule Is Full. If a teacher has no available appointments, use the Request to be contacted option in PowerPTC. The request will be shared with the teacher so they can follow up with you.

How will conferences be held?
When scheduling, families may choose to meet in person at their child's school or remotely by video.
What if I don't have access to a computer?
Contact your child's school office for assistance with conference registration.
Can parents/guardians schedule conferences separately?
Yes. Conference schedules are created for each child. Each parent/guardian who wishes to schedule conferences separately should use their own PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access PowerPTC.
Can I review, change, or cancel a conference?
Yes. Reservations can be reviewed, changed, or canceled in PowerPTC until registration closes.
