The message below is a translatable supplement to a letter sent to parents regarding their child's Summer School recommendation and registration.

Sunny 73.5Your child has been recommended to participate in our 2026 District 73.5 Summer School program. This program is designed for students entering first through eighth grade who would benefit from academic support in ELA and/or math. There is no charge for summer school. Teachers consider classroom performance and recent test scores when recommending students to our summer school program. You will find basic information about the program your child has been recommended to attend below, and should expect to receive more specific details in the upcoming weeks regarding registration and transportation. You may also find additional updates provided to all parents in our weekly newsletters and on our website www.sd735.org.

Summer School Dates: Monday, June 8th — Wednesday, July 1st (15 days)

Days: Monday through Thursday (no classes on Fridays)

Location: John Middleton Elementary, 8300 St. Louis Ave. Skokie, IL, 60076

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Your student is recommended for the classes below:
MATH
Mathematics: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

REGISTER FOR SUMMER SCHOOL

Transportation: Bus will be available at no charge for students attending BOTH reading and math classes, but there is no 10:00 a.m. drop-off or pick-up from Middleton. Students in MATH can take the bus home.
