Karen Chan

Karen is a life-long resident of Skokie. She was born and raised in this vibrant community, alongside her husband Vic, a fellow Skokie native. As parents to two bright young children, they are proud to raise their family in the same community that shaped their success. 

Karen is an entrepreneur and the owner of two small businesses. She runs a small consulting firm where she helps businesses optimize operations, improve accountability, and streamline financial and administrative processes. She is also a co-founder of reframe52 which is a company that provides education to individuals and organizations seeking to implement meaningful and lasting equity solutions. She previously served as the CAO and CFO of a retained executive search firm in Chicago for 17 years. She also served as Board Member and Treasurer for UN Women Chicago in 2022-2023.

Her favorite activities include spending time with family, reading, crocheting, and escape rooms.
