Welcome to Meyer School!

I am excited to join the Meyer community as principal and to serve the students, families, and staff who make this such a special place!

Meyer School is home to Skokie School District 73.5's preschool and kindergarten programs, where our youngest learners begin building the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Every day, our dedicated staff works to create a school environment where children feel safe, valued, supported, and excited to come to school.

At Meyer, we believe strong relationships are at the heart of student success. We are committed to knowing each child as an individual and creating meaningful learning experiences that nurture academic growth, curiosity, confidence, creativity, and independence. Just as importantly, we strive to help students develop the social-emotional skills and sense of belonging that allow them to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

We also recognize the critical role families play in a child's educational journey. We value the partnerships we build with parents and caregivers and believe that when schools and families work together, children benefit in extraordinary ways.

As I begin my journey at Meyer, my first priority is to listen, learn, and build relationships. I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff, celebrating the many strengths that already exist within our school community, and working together to ensure every child feels welcomed, supported, and successful.
