Elizabeth Meyer Preschool Program
The Meyer School Preschool program follows a blended model, with general and special education students learning with and from one another through an interactive, play-based, and theme-based curriculum. We focus on developing the whole child, including social-emotional lessons and the Zones of Regulation as part of our curriculum.

Program Hours
Our preschool program offers morning, afternoon, and full-day sections. We have two classrooms each for the half-day and full-day programs.
- Arrival: 8:25-8:30 a.m.
- Dismissal 11:00 a.m.
- Arrival: 11:55 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
- Dismissal 2:30 p.m.
- Arrival: 8:25-8:30 a.m.
- Dismissal 2:30 p.m.
Program Options
School Year 2025-2026
- 5 days per week
- 2 or 3 day spots available on a limited basis
- Half-day (morning or afternoon), 5 days per week
OR - Full-day, 5 days per week
Tuition Information
- District 73.5 discounted tuition rates are available to a limited number of students who live within Skokie School District 73.5
- Students must complete a screening in April to qualify for a discount tuition spot.
Extended Care Options
A minimum of 10 students is required to run extended care sections.
AM SPACE before school for preschool and kindergarten students. Registration deadline is August 1.
Learn & Play AM SPACE for afternoon preschool students. Registration deadline is July 1.
PM SPACE after school for preschool and kindergarten students. Registration deadline is August 1.
Learn & Play PM SPACE for morning preschool students. Registration deadline is July 1.
Food Service
- Lunch is a 30-minute period for full-day preschool students
- Students may bring lunch from home or buy a school lunch (vegetarian, Halal, and Kosher options available)
- The lunch menu is published on the district website each month
- Fund your child’s lunch account through the online WebStore (My MealTime registration required)
