7th Grade Parents and Guardians:

We are excited to be moving forward on our planning for our trip to Camp MacLean in Burlington, Wisconsin from May 17-19!

All of the paperwork for the trip (including the permission slip, medical forms, and payment) are due no later than Monday, April 24 and are included in this Camp MacLean Family Packet. This is a hard due date and we won't be able to make exceptions as it impacts our planning and communication with Camp MacLean. If you've made your payment already, thank you!

Some important notes:

  • The cost of the trip is $211 per student. Families that are in need of financial assistance should contact Ms. Karen Hayes in the District Business Office at 847-676-8317 to request a fee waiver application or to establish payment plans.
  • Please review the medical form carefully and fill it out completely. All medications, whether prescription or over-the-counter, are maintained by McCracken staff and we must have a doctor's consent to give to your student.

Important note for student not attending: For students not attending the trip, we will be planning a modified schedule for them when they are at McCracken on these days, focusing on team-building activities. Our 7th grade staff who are staying behind will share this with the students closer to the trip date.

Thank you for supporting this field trip and please reach out to Marty Behm at [email protected] or 847-676-8234 if you have any questions. We will be giving students a hard copy of the packet to bring home today.

Thank you,

Marty Behm

Assistant Principal and Camp MacLean Trip Coordinator
