Dear Skokie73.5 Families,

We are writing to inform you of the district’s developing plans in response to Friday’s winter weather forecast.

WHAT WE KNOW AS OF THURSDAY AFTERNOON:

  • Weather reports indicate that snowfall will begin just before or after the start of our school day.
  • As a precaution, all after-school activities on Friday, January 12th are canceled.  
  • Skokie73.5 will continue to monitor weather reports this evening and early tomorrow morning.

If weather conditions early Friday morning suggest that travel to and from our schools will be unsafe for students and staff, we will close our buildings and implement an e-Learning day. Should we need to take this step, the district will send a communication at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Friday morning.

Please watch your email, text messages, our websites, and @Skokie735 social media for updates as they become available. Information will also be posted on the Emergency Closing Center website.
