Dear Families,

As we wrap up our first full week of school and look toward a long weekend, we are writing to remind our community about two important school safety guidelines.

STUDENT ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL

Parents/guardians and students are expected to follow their arranged pickup and drop-off plans each day. If your child’s dismissal plan requires an unexpected change from their daily routine, please…

  • DO contact the school’s front office…
    • At Meyer: by 12:00 noon every day
    • At Middleton: before 2:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m on Tuesdays)
    • At McCracken: if your child does not already know about the change (for example: they will be picked up instead of riding the bus)
       
  • DO NOT try to contact your child or their teacher during the school day. Teachers are not always able to receive messages, and students should not be using personal devices during the school day.

Please review the ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL guidelines on pages 14-16 of the 2023-2024 Student/Parent Handbook for more information.

PLAYGROUND ACCESS

Playgrounds and fields adjacent to our buildings are for school use only during scheduled attendance days. The community is welcome to enjoy the grounds and facilities when school is not in session.
