AROUND TOWN: Celebrate Juneteenth!

Celebrate Juneteenth in Skokie on Saturday, June 17th from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Oakton Park.

A children's art project begins at 1:00 p.m. and runs all day. Supplies will be available to create a wood tile to be included in a community art display.

The opening ceremony begins at 2:00 p.m.

Live music and kids' activities are free. Food will be available for purchase from on-site food trucks.
