Dear Kindergarten Families,
We are looking forward to welcoming our Kindergarten students to the first day of school tomorrow, Thursday, August 24, 2023!
Kindergarten students may arrive at Meyer School between 8:30 and 8:40 a.m. on the Meyer playground. We will have staff helping to supervise students on the playground during this time.
If you are using the Meyer Drive-Thru, please pull up to Door #7. The Drive-Thru is one way, entering from Kildare Avenue. We will then send students straight to the playground.
If you plan to park your car and walk, feel free to park your car in the parking lot or on the street. If you park on the street, there is no parking on the east side of Tripp Avenue, and please do not block any driveways on Kildare. If you arrive prior to 8:30 a.m. please do not park in the slanted parking spots on Kildare, as these are reserved for preschool families for drop-off. You are welcome to stay until we line up and enter the building!
For families who have signed up for the Early Bird program, please drop off your child at Door #12E, just south of the main entrance on Tripp Avenue, between 7:00 and 8:25 a.m.
For families who have signed up for the Kindergarten school bus, you will receive confirmation of your bus corner by the end of the day today. Please be patient while waiting for the bus in the first few days, as everyone begins to get used to the bus routine. Breakfast is also available for purchase this year in the cafeteria from 8:10 to 8:25 am. Please bring your child to Door #12E (just south of the main entrance), where you will sign them in, and your account will be charged.
