Nut Free Classrooms
All of our classrooms are now nut free. To help ensure the safety of our students with nut allergies, we ask that no nuts be sent to school for snacks. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Attention 5th grade parents: All White Pines forms and fees are due on Friday, October 2. The cost is $190.00. Please check that all forms are completely filled out. Checks need to be made out to District 73½. Checks will not be cashed until the day of departure.
Free And Reduced Lunch Information
In order to be eligible for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program for 2015-2016, you must complete an application. Applications are available in the School Office and on our website. Families who were approved for the Free/Reduced Lunch program last year must apply again this year. The deadline is September 30. If you do not apply by September 30, 2015, you will be charged for lunches. If you have any questions, please call Elle Karagianes at 847.676.8317.
Item Drop Off
We know that there are times when students forget to bring lunches, band instruments, books, and other items to school. Please know that when you drop those items at school, our front office staff will email or call teachers to inform them of this. Teachers do their best to send students down as soon as possible to retrieve these items. It is not possible for secretaries to deliver items or lunches to classrooms due to the busy nature of the front office. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this. Please also know that if a child forgets a lunch at home, they will always be fed here at school, so it may not be necessary for you to drop lunch off during the day.
