Our Helping Hands flyerPlayleaders Wanted

Middleton is in need of help supervising students during recess. If you are available between the hours of 10:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and like to play outside with children, please apply in the main office at Middleton.

ELP Inquiry Window

Our Extended Learning Program provides honors classes for students in Math and English Language Arts in grades 4-8. Students qualify for these classes based on a variety of measures. Families are notified of this information in June (for class placement for the upcoming school year). Parents may complete a Parent Inquiry if they feel their child may benefit from a more rigorous curriculum. The Parent Inquiry window opens October 1 and remains open until April 1. Parent Inquiry paperwork is available in the main office of Middleton and McCracken, or by contacting your school’s Assistant Principal.

It's time to order your 2015-2016 yearbook! What better way to remember this school year than with a yearbook for you and your child? These are memories you'll want to keep for years to come! The school yearbook costs $20 and is available for pre-order from now until December 18. Yearbooks will be distributed in May.

How to order: You may order online or return payment in the ordering envelope your child received at school. All checks should be made payable to HR Imaging. To order online, please visit book.hrimaging.com and select John Middleton Elem School.

BESS Screenings

Skokie School District 73½ is committed to the social and emotional development of all children. Because social and emotional growth is an important part of childhood development, our district conducts “Well Checks” through the AIMSsweb Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS). Screenings will take place with all 3rd-5th grades students.

Nut Free Classrooms

All of our classrooms are now nut free. To help ensure the safety of our students with nut allergies, we ask that no nuts be sent to school for snacks. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Student Handbooks

Each family received a Student Handbook. Please read through the handbook with your child and the sign and return the corresponding form.

Thank You, Home Depot!
