Skokie's National Night Out

Skokie's National Night Out

The Skokie Police Department is proud to take part in the National Night Out campaign again in 2017!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. This year’s festivities take place on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at OAKTON PARK (4701 Oakton Street) from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Village of Skokie, Police, Fire, Village Hall and Public Works Departments invite you to join us for a FREE night of fun and celebration of our great community!

Activities will include tours of the Community Outreach Police Substation (COPS vehicle), the Skokie Police K-9 Unit, McGruff the Crime Dog, Balloon Art/Animals & Glitter Tattoos by RC Juggle, LIFETIME Fitness Interactive Exercises, Culvers Custard, the Skokie Explorers youth group recruitment Q&A, a Skokie Fire Department apparatus display and water game, Mariano’s prize wheel, Dunkin Donuts mobile sampling van, games and balloons for the kids, the United States Army climbing wall/interactive game trailer, New York Life Child Identification kits, hotdogs and chips courtesy of the Skokie Park District and more to come...

Most importantly, we want to hear from you, the residents, about how to improve your neighborhood and quality of life by partnering with the Skokie Police and other Village personnel to reduce crime.
