Skokie School District 73½ is proud to announce that it has gone to an online calendar rather than the traditional printed calendar for a number of reasons. 

On-line calendars:

• are more environmentally friendly
• can accomodate changes made throughout the year
• are current with the most up-to-date school information
• are presented in a variety of ways - by school, by district, athletics only, lunch menus
• school calendars include district information and events
• includes pop-up windows and links for more detailed information
• can be viewed by week or by month
• can be subscribed to - you will get an update whenever a change is made to the calendar
• able to print if you need a printed copy
• are color-coded to make finding specific information easier
• can be downloaded to applications that support iCalendar subscriptions such as Apple's iCal or the Mozilla calendar
• lunch menu available by school or a color-coded master calendar for all three all three schools - especially handy if you have children in more than one school.

To help with navigation- here is a brief description of what to expect from each calendar:

The District calendar includes district events as well as McCracken, Middleton, or Meyer specific events and McCracken Athletics.

The school calendars, McCracken, Middleton and Meyer include events pertinent to that school as well as district events, but does not include events that do not pertain to them.  An example would be the Fruit Bowl Welcome Back which is held at Meyer and is intended for Meyer Students and their families.

The lunch menus are available by school or as a master calendar which includes the menus for all three schools for each day. (McCracken - purple,top; Middleton - blue, middle; Meyer - red, bottom)

Each calendar will open in a separate window and will remain open until it is closed.

There are options for viewing the calendar as a single week, rather than the whole month.

Items within the calendar boxes that are underlined are hot links to additional information.  This information will also open in a separate window.
